RANCHI – Meteorologists predict heightened monsoon vigor across Jharkhand, particularly affecting the state’s southern and central areas.

Dr. Abhishek Anand, a climate expert at the Ranchi Center, has issued a forecast for the coming days.

He anticipates significant precipitation in various regions from July 30 to August 1.

Several districts may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning strikes.

Safety Precautions

Authorities have advised farmers to avoid fieldwork during thunderstorms.

Residents are urged to steer clear of poles when lightning is expected.

These measures aim to minimize potential risks associated with severe weather.

Affected Areas

The following districts are under a three-day alert:

July 30:

– Ranchi

Bokaro

– Gumla

– Hazaribagh

Khunti

– Ramgarh

– East Singhbhum

– West Singhbhum

– Simdega

– Saraikela

July 31 and August 1:

– Garhwa

– Chatra

– Latehar

– Lohardaga

– Gumla

– Ranchi

– Simdega

– Khunti

– West Singhbhum

– East Singhbhum

– Saraikela-Kharsawan

Other districts may experience light showers during this period.

Recent Weather Patterns

Jamshedpur recorded the highest rainfall on Monday at 24 mm.

Gumla registered the highest temperature at 36.9°C.

Jamshedpur’s temperature range:

– Maximum: 31.0°C

– Minimum: 26.3°C
