Swadeshi Jagran Manch Holds District Conference at Tulsi Bhavan

Keynote speeches emphasize self-reliance and sustainable development.

The Swadeshi Jagran Manch’s metropolitan district conference was held at Tulsi Bhavan with main guests Shri Deepak Sharma Pradeep and Shri Amrendra Kumar Singh.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Swadeshi Jagran Manch’s metropolitan district conference took place at Tulsi Bhavan, with Shri Deepak Sharma Pradeep, the All India Co-Organization Chief, and Shri Amrendra Kumar Singh, the regional coordinator, as chief guests.

The program commenced with lighting a lamp in front of Bharat Mata and offering flowers.

In the opening session, Shri Deepak Sharma Pradeep emphasized that India’s history dates back 70,000 years and has provided the world with knowledge, industry, philosophy, spirituality, yoga, and development paths.

He noted that the 1991 economic shift brought foreign technology, promising development and job opportunities but led to a model that was ultimately destructive and anti-employment.

India’s development has always followed a sustainable model with the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,’ which ensures inclusive growth and well-being.

He highlighted that only 7% of jobs in India are in the organized sector, with the remaining 93% in the unorganized sector, which provides employment opportunities based on local conditions.

Examples included 3 crore fishermen, 8 crore people dependent on dairy, 3 crore masons, and 1.1 crore small and large entrepreneurs employing 8 crore people.

He stated that India’s vast agricultural land could provide organic food for 400 crore people.

Shri Amrendra Kumar Singh discussed the expansion of the Self-Reliant India Campaign, emphasizing the need for societal support to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047.

The session also saw the release of Dr. Raj Kumar Mittal’s book "The Country of 37 Crore Startups," which focuses on organic entrepreneurship.

The first session covered the developmental journey and methodology of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, with main speaker Bande Shankar Singh highlighting significant movements and societal efforts since 1991.

The second session focused on new self-employment opportunities in India, with social worker and entrepreneur Manoj Sinha discussing carbon credit storage and consumption.

Manoj Singh, the former chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Eastern India, spoke on the current environmental situation and responsibilities.

The event concluded with organizational discussions and new appointments, including:

District Women’s Department Chief – Mrs. Kanchan Singh,

District Women’s Department Co-Chief – Mrs. Kiranjeet Kaur,

District Youth Cell – Akhilesh Kumar,

City-level new appointees:

Bagbera City Coordinator – Sumit Kumar,

Mango City – Vikas Jaiswal,

Ulidih City – Pratima Singh,

Jugsalai City – Manoj Sakuja,

Sonari City – Sanjay Kumar,

Parsudih City – Shukla Haldar,

Baridih City – Ravindra Master,

Sakchi City – Rajesh Kumar Singh,

Women’s Chief of Birsanagar – Asha Singh,

Women’s Chief of Govindpur – Sweta Singh.

A two-minute silence was observed in memory of the late Santosh Sahu, the former Baridih City Coordinator.

Around 500 supporters, including Madhulika Mehta, Manju Thakur, Anil Rai, KP Chaudhary, JKM Raju, Sanjeet Pramanik, Mukesh Thakur, Vikas Sahni, Mukesh Bhadani, Manoj Gupta, Shyam Das, Gurjit Singh, Abhishek Bajaj, Satyanarayan Mishra, Gaurav Kumar, Durga Saini, Sharda Singh, Vinod Singh, Ajay Kumar, Rahul Kumar, and Kanchan Singh, attended the event.
