Field visit exposes XII graders to hospitality and media industries

JAMSHEDPUR – J.H. Tarapore School orchestrates an educational excursion to various local businesses, offering students real-world career insights.

In alignment with the New Education Policy’s emphasis on experiential learning, J.H. Tarapore School organized a comprehensive field trip for its twelfth-grade students.

The excursion, which took place on July 26, 2024, aimed to expose students to diverse career opportunities in hospitality, food and beverage, and print media sectors.

Students visited several prominent establishments in Jamshedpur, including luxury hotels, dairy facilities, and a printing press.

"This trip opened my eyes to so many career possibilities I hadn’t considered before," remarked one enthusiastic student participant.

The educational tour encompassed visits to The Sonnet, Ramada, D.B.M.S Bakery, Sudha Dairy, and Udit Vani Printing Press.

These on-site experiences provided students with valuable insights into various professional environments and potential career paths.

The school management’s initiative received widespread appreciation from the students, who found the day both memorable and enlightening.

This practical approach to career guidance aligns with the school’s commitment to providing well-rounded education and preparing students for their future professions.
