Army Recruitment Rally Set for Ranchi’s Khelgaon

Jharkhand-wide event to draw candidates for various Agniveer positions

Ranchi prepares for a major army recruitment rally at Khelgaon Sports Complex, offering opportunities for Jharkhand youth across multiple Agniveer categories.

RANCHI – The Indian Army is gearing up for a significant recruitment drive in Jharkhand, scheduled from July 27 to August 10, 2024, at Khelgaon, Ranchi.

The event, organized jointly by the Army Recruitment Office Ranchi and local administration, will take place at the Khelgaon Sports Complex.

Colonel Vikas Bhola, Army Recruitment Director, recently met with SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha to finalize security arrangements for the rally.

"We’re implementing strict measures to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process," stated Colonel Bhola. "Candidates should be cautious of any individuals offering shortcuts or guarantees."

The rally will cater to eligible candidates from all 24 districts of Jharkhand, covering various Agniveer positions including General Duty, Office Assistant, Technical, and Tradesman roles.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of police verification for candidates and warned against broker involvement in the recruitment process.

Shortlisted applicants have received admit cards via email since July 9, 2024. Candidates are required to bring their colored, online-generated admit cards and all necessary documents as specified in the February 2024 notification.

The Army Recruitment Office in Ranchi remains available for additional information during working hours.

Officials stress that the entire recruitment process is free, merit-based, and devoid of external influence, urging candidates to report any suspicious activities to the police or rally officials.
