California’s Youngest Author Nyla Tiwary Launches Debut Book in Jamshedpur

8-Year-Old Nayla Tiwary’s ‘Lost at the Sea’ Unveiled in Jamshedpur

Literary event celebrates intergenerational talent as grandfather and granddaughter release their books simultaneously at Tulsi Bhavan.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Singhbhum District Hindi Literary Conference hosted a unique book launch event at Tulsi Bhavan’s Manas Auditorium, featuring works by two generations of writers.

The ceremony unveiled “Yadon Ke Sheher,” a poetry collection by veteran litterateur Suresh Chandra Jha, alongside “Lost at the Sea,” a children’s story by his 8-year-old granddaughter, Nayla Tiwary.

Subhash Chandra Munka, President of Tulsi Bhavan, chaired the event, with Dr. Ragini Bhushan and Dr. Tripura Jha as guests of honor.

“Nayla is the youngest author in California at just 8 years old,” remarked Prasenjit Tiwary, Honorary General Secretary of Tulsi Bhavan.

Divyendu Tripathi, reviewing “Yadon Ke Sheher,” noted, “It’s a critique of the present through the lens of the past, capturing personal and societal realities.”

Brajendra Nath Mishra praised “Lost at the Sea” as “an excellent creative endeavor with an engaging plot and inspirational quotes.”

Dr. Veena Pandey ‘Bharati’ introduced Nayla Tiwary, highlighting her precocious literary achievement.

The event showcased a blend of established and emerging talent, with Nayla’s work drawing particular attention for its uniqueness.

Notable attendees included Ram Nandan Prasad, Dr. Ajay Kumar Ojha, and numerous local literary figures.

This intergenerational literary celebration underscores the vibrant cultural scene in Jamshedpur and the nurturing of young talent alongside seasoned writers.
