PORAIYAHAT – BJP state president Babulal Marandi launched a fierce attack on Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, alleging violations of the Chotanagpur Tenancy (CNT) Act.
Marandi made these accusations during the Parivartan Yatra in Poraiyahat on Saturday.
He claimed tribal lands and rights have been exploited under Soren’s leadership.
Moreover, Marandi alleged a Rs 1,000 crore mining scam involving the Soren government.
The BJP leader also accused the current administration of encroaching upon army lands.
Furthermore, he expressed concern over the declining Adivasi population in Jharkhand.
Marandi cited statistics showing a drop in tribal population from 36% to 26% since 1951.
In Santhal Pargana, the decline is even more dramatic, from 44% to 28%.
Additionally, he blamed Bangladeshi infiltrators for altering the state’s demographic profile.
The BJP president vowed to expel these infiltrators if his party forms the government.
Meanwhile, Marandi accused Soren of illegally selling tribal land by manipulating records.
He promised that a BJP government would correct land documents at the village level.
On the other hand, Marandi criticized Soren’s "Maa Niyaya Samman Yojana" as an election tactic.
He argued that BJP-led states already provide direct benefits to women.
In conclusion, Marandi promised genuine intent in implementing similar schemes under BJP rule.
