JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Mangal Kalindi engaged in discussions with the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) in Chakradharpur on Wednesday, focusing on critical railway issues affecting the Jugsalai Assembly constituency.

Kalindi stressed the importance of introducing passenger train stops at Govindpur Halt on the Tatanagar-Kharagpur route.

The MLA highlighted how the current lack of stoppage negatively impacts local residents, including businesspeople, students, and laborers.

Kalindi presented several infrastructure demands, including the construction of the long-awaited Jugsalai foot overbridge.

Other key proposals included barricading near Salgajhuri gate and new pathways to improve local connectivity.

The DRM assured Kalindi that the raised concerns and demands would be given due consideration.
