Union Meeting Addresses Key Worker Issues at Tata Steel Downstream Product Limited

Union discusses pending grade revision, new joiners, and other worker concerns.

The Tata Steel Downstream Product Limited Employees Union held a meeting today at the union office in Bara under the leadership of Union President Rakeshwar Pandey.

JAMSHEDPUR – The employees of Tata Steel Downstream Product Limited gathered today at their Bara office for a meeting. The meeting was led by Union President Rakeshwar Pandey.

The union officials and executive members had a discussion about several important matters. These included the long overdue grade revision that has been pending for nine months, issues related to new employees joining the company, the allocation of quarters, and other concerns that affect the workers.

President Rakeshwar Pandey, after carefully considering the concerns raised, decided to establish a committee consisting of four members. The committee will be headed by General Secretary Aman Singh and their main task will be to facilitate discussions with the management regarding the revision of grades.

The committee is made up of Aman Singh as the General Secretary, Sachidanand as the Vice President, Ramesh Chaudhary as the Treasurer, and Tridev Singh as a Committee Member.

Pandey assured that we will promptly address all grade-related topics with the management and work towards resolving these critical worker issues.

Additionally, he mentioned that the union plans to hold an introductory meeting with the 84 newly hired employees in the near future.

Pandey made it clear that the union is dedicated to resolving any outstanding issues with management by engaging in meaningful discussions at a higher level.

Today, the meeting was attended by Aman Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Sachidanand, S.B. Rana, Rakesh Singh, Ranjan Mishra, R. Ravi, Anish Jha, Ramesh Chaudhary, Tridev Singh, Pramod Upadhyay, Manoj Singh, and B.D. Singh.
