Cycle Distribution Ceremony Held in Jamshedpur

State government distributes cycles to students under ambitious scheme.

A grand cycle distribution ceremony was held at Jamshedpur Sadar Block Headquarters on Friday, benefiting students from various schools.

JAMSHEDPUR – The state government’s cycle distribution scheme had a grand ceremony at the Jamshedpur Sadar Block Headquarters on Friday.

MLAs Saryu Roy from Jamshedpur East, Mangal Kalindi from Jugsalai, and Sanjeev Sardar from Potka attended the event, along with District Council Chairperson Bari Murmu, Vice-Chairperson Pankaj, and Council members Kavita Parmar, Dr. Paritosh Singh, Purnima Mallick, Block Chief Pani Soren, Deputy Chief Shiv Charan Hansda, and other local leaders.

The event was attended by District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, PD ITDA Deepankar Chaudhary, District Welfare Officer Rajendra Gupta, CO Manoj Kumar, and BDO Sudha Verma.

At the event, we handed out bicycles to 600 students from 16 schools in the Potka, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur East, and Jamshedpur West assembly constituencies.

In addition, a total of 75 goats were provided to 15 beneficiaries through the Chief Minister’s Livestock Scheme, and football kits were distributed to all 55 panchayats.

In his address, MLA Saryu Roy from Jamshedpur East expressed, "The government’s goal is to help those in need, easing their financial burdens and building a stronger community."

The District Council Chairperson, Bari Murmu, highlighted the significance of government schemes in enhancing the economic conditions of those who are eligible to benefit from them.

MLA Sanjeev Sardar from Potka highlighted the initiatives taken by the state government, including generating employment opportunities, empowering women, and providing financial aid for higher education.

Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi is urging local representatives to identify and recommend important development projects for their villages. This will help ensure that the benefits of these projects reach the people at the grassroots level.

The event highlighted the government’s dedication to implementing programs that serve different segments of society, such as the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, universal pension, and free electricity for up to 200 units.
