District Nodal Officer Dr. Mrityunjay Dhaudia provided detailed information about tobacco-related diseases to the participants.
He instructed everyone to reach the grassroots level and disseminate accurate information.
Trainer Dr. Mohammad Asad explained the presence of 4,000 toxic elements in tobacco and its impact on mental health.

District Counselor Mausami Chatterjee shared detailed information about the Government of India’s COTPA 2003 Act.
She emphasized the importance of imposing fines on tobacco users, stating, "The goal is not to generate revenue but to instill fear and discourage tobacco use."
Weekly Discussions on Tobacco
Program social worker Kundan Kumar highlighted the societal harm caused by tobacco and the economic strain of related illnesses.
He advised, "Discuss the ill effects of tobacco for at least 10 minutes every week at your workplace to inform those around you."
