Cleanliness Campaign Launched by Jugsalai Municipal Council
Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 initiative to promote cleanliness and health.
Jugsalai Municipal Council has initiated the "Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Disease" campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban 2.0.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jugsalai Municipal Council has recently started a campaign called "Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Disease" as a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban 2.0.
The campaign is scheduled to continue until August 31 and its main objective is to address the cleanliness and health issues that arise during the monsoon season.
Today, the children from Bal Bharti School had the opportunity to learn about the importance of maintaining good hygiene and how it helps in preventing diseases.
Furthermore, the sanitation workers took part in kabaddi and kho-kho games at the Jugsalai Municipal Council office to help promote the initiative.
Women from Anganwadi centers were also given awareness sessions.
Executive Officer Motai Banra, the City Manager, and a group of sanitation experts were all in attendance at the event.
The campaign aims to engage different members of the community in promoting cleanliness and preventing illness.
