District Approval Committee Allocates Rs 6.11 Crore For Student Scholarships

Meeting Chaired By DM Ananya Mittal Approves Multiple Welfare Schemes

5870 students to benefit from post matric scholarships across Jamshedpur district.

JAMSHEDPUR – The District Approval Committee, led by District Magistrate Ananya Mittal, approved Rs 6.11 crore for post matric scholarships, benefiting 5870 students.

The meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium reviewed various welfare department schemes.

285 beneficiaries were approved under the Chief Minister Employment Creation Scheme.

"463 applications for the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana were sanctioned," a district official stated.

The committee addressed applications for the Mukhyamantri Swasthya Sahayata Yojana and Forest Rights Act.

DFO Saba Alam Ansari and DDC Manish Kumar were among the senior officials present.

Out of 22,425 scholarship applications received, 8,226 were approved by educational institutions.

The meeting included representatives from MPs, MLAs, and District Council members.

Mittal was directed to oversee implementation of approved schemes across all district blocks.

This initiative underscores the district’s commitment to socio-economic development and welfare.
