St. Mary’s English High School Hosts Junior Block Prize Night

Dr. Sujata Mitra Of Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital Attends As Chief Guest

Event recognizes academic excellence and honors long-serving teacher Glenis Faraday.

JAMSHEDPUR – The annual junior block prize night ceremony was held on Saturday at St. Mary’s English High School, in the auditorium of the senior block.

Dr. Sujata Mitra, who is the Director of Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital, was present as the chief guest and she spoke highly of the achievements of the students.

Mitra believes that it is important for parents to give their children the freedom to choose subjects that interest them.

Fr. Edward Saldanha, the School Manager, was honored to attend the event as the guest of honor.

During the presentation, Principal Fr. Vernon D’Souza highlighted the importance of parental involvement in the development of children.

They awarded special honors to the students who were the most responsible and well-rounded in each class.

Tr. Glenis Faraday was honored for her 18 years of dedicated service to the school.

Vice Principal Father Alex Darwin and Sister Eliza were present at the event.

The ceremony started with a beautiful prayer dance and ended with everyone singing the school and national anthems.

This event shows how important it is for St. Mary’s to acknowledge the accomplishments of students and the contributions of staff members.
