Saryu Roy’s Supporters Celebrate One Year of His Election Victory

Jamshedpur: Saryu Roy’s supporters today celebrated one year of his victory in assembly elections in a big way by taking out victory processions at different places in the city. Dhols and nagadas, drums were used in the procession. A cake was also cut and a meeting was also held.

It may be added that last year the results were announced on December 23 for Jharkhand Assembly elections. In that election, Saryu Roy had defeated the sitting Chief Minister an 5-time MLA of Jamshedpur East as an independent candidate.

To celebrate completion of one year of his victory, Saryu Roy’s supporters and Bhartiya Jan Morcha’s workers took out victory processions and went around different areas of the town.

Everywhere Saryu Roy received a warm welcome from the general public. Several programmes were also organised on the occasion.

Saryu Roy thanked the voters and his supporters and said that the way the people supported him was overwhelming. He said that his work for serving the people has been affected a little due to coronavirus pandemic, but most of the work would be completed soon.
