Chakradharpur MLA promises to address the issue with the Chief Minister
A delegation of former ward councillors from Chakradharpur met MLA Sukhram Oraon and demanded the payment of their 26-month outstanding honorarium as soon as possible.
CHAKRADHARPUR – Former ward councillors of Chakradharpur Nagar Parishad met District JMM President and Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon at his residence in Banmalipur.
The delegation demanded the payment of their outstanding honorarium for approximately 26 months from the year 2023 which has been due to them.
MLA Sukhram Oraon assured the councillors that he would present their demands to the Chief Minister in an effort to resolve the issue.
During the meeting, the councillors also discussed other pressing matters with the MLA.
Present at this meeting were Shambhu Sao, Vinay Barman, Rashid, Nikku Singh, Somnath Rajak, Raja Prasad, Maya Rani Mal, Preeti Horo, Manju Devi, Dinesh Jena, Reena Mukhi, Ravi Bankira, and many others.
"We are hopeful that our concerns will be addressed promptly," said one of the former councillors, who was part of the delegation that met the MLA.
