Sakchi Police Launch Search Operation After Bank Officials Alert Authorities

An intoxicated man entered the Kashidih Bank of India ATM in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, on Sunday afternoon and attempted to steal money from the machine, prompting a police search for the suspect.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a brazen attempt to steal money from the Kashidih Bank of India ATM, an inebriated man entered the facility on Sunday afternoon in the Sakchi police station area of Jamshedpur.

The incident came to light when bank officials, monitoring the ATM through surveillance cameras, noticed the man’s suspicious behavior and promptly informed the Sakchi police station.

Upon receiving the information, the police swiftly reached the spot to investigate the matter and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect.

According to the police, the man, in his drunken state, tried to force open the ATM machine by kicking it repeatedly.

However, when his efforts to break open the machine proved futile, the man exited the ATM and fled the scene.

The police are currently scouring the area to identify and locate the suspect based on the information provided by the bank officials and the surveillance footage.

The incident has raised concerns about the security of ATMs in the city, with citizens urging the authorities to take stringent measures to prevent such attempts and ensure the safety of their hard-earned money.

The Sakchi police have assured the public that they are doing everything in their power to apprehend the culprit and bring him to justice.
