Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth Takes On New Role in Defence Ministry

Sanjay Seth, Ranchi MP, has officially assumed his role as the Union Minister of State for Defence in New Delhi.

RANCHI – Ranchi MP and newly appointed Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, has taken charge in the Defense Ministry in New Delhi.

Before assuming his new role, he met with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to seek his blessings.

Rajnath Singh presented him with a bouquet and extended his best wishes.

Sanjay Seth has been inducted into Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet for the first time, having taken his oath of office on June 9.

Expressing his commitment, Seth stated, "I will try to live up to the responsibility entrusted to me by the Prime Minister and the central leadership. I will work with double energy by following the ideals of Prime Minister Narendra Modi."

On Monday, Seth offered prayers at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place.

This marks his second victory, having first contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
