The District Chess Competition highlighted impressive performances in both the boys’ and girls’ events.
JAMSHEDPUR – The District Chess Competition concluded at the JRD Tata Sports Complex with a ceremony honoring young chess talents.
In the Under-7 girls’ category, T Niharika took the top position, showcasing exceptional strategy.
Anisha Kumari earned second place, while Kaira Agarwal came in third.
Other notable finishes included T Neha, Kavya Agarwal, Avishka Dubey, and Divyana Aggarwal.
In the boys’ category, Ridhaan Goyal clinched the top spot with impressive chess skills.
Dharia Agarwal came in second, and Arthav Adesara earned third place.
Participants such as Kumar Aditya, Rishit Khaitan, Vihaan Uppalapati, and Aveeraj N Aggarwal also performed well.
The awards were given by Manoj Kumar, President of the Seraikela-Kharsawan District Chess Association, and Vibhuti Adesara, Head of Sports at Tata Steel.
Ajay Kumar, NK Tiwary, IA Jayant Kr Bhuyan, Chandan Kumar Prasad, and Aman Choubey were among the dignitaries present.
They praised the participants’ dedication and passion for chess.
