The Election Commission has completed the scrutiny of nomination papers for the Singhbhum parliamentary seat as part of the fourth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

CHAIBASA – The scrutiny process for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Singhbhum has concluded with 14 candidates deemed eligible to contest.

Among the candidates cleared are Geeta Koda from the BJP, Joba Majhi of the JMM, and representatives from other parties including the Bahujan Samaj Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (Ulgulan), and the Jharkhand Party.

Candidates from less known parties like the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist) and the Ambedkarite IT Party of India also made the cut.

Additionally, several independent candidates have been approved to enter the fray for the forthcoming elections.
