Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Marks 30,000 Free Pediatric Surgeries

Hospital Achieves Major Milestone in Child Cardiac Care

Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital has provided 30,000 free heart surgeries for children, demonstrating a substantial impact in pediatric healthcare.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, under the aegis of the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust, has achieved a significant milestone by performing 30,000 free pediatric heart surgeries over the past 12 years.

The hospital operates across various Indian locations including Nava Raipur, Khargar, Palwal, and Koudapaka, delivering critical cardiac care to children from India and abroad.

More than 1,500 children from Jharkhand have been recipients of these life-saving procedures, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to overcoming financial barriers in healthcare access.

Dr. C. Srinivas, Chairman of the Trust, oversees the operations which include around 500 free pediatric cardiac surgeries each month across its network.

In addition to heart surgeries, the Trust operates extensive outpatient services and has conducted numerous medical camps in rural and tribal areas, benefiting over 2,45,000 children and 2,60,000 women and children respectively.

The Jamshedpur branch of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, which began its operations in September 2022, has already made significant strides by providing thousands of free consultations and treatments in various specialties.

Plans are in place to further expand its services to include screenings for congenital heart diseases among children.
