JAMSHEDPUR – Graduate School College for Women commemorates late HOD Shukla Sinha’s contributions with a special award ceremony.
D. K. Sinha, Shukla Sinha’s spouse, sponsored the awards and refreshments in her memory.
Salini Kumari Mahato and Dilkash Firdaus received the Shukla Sinha Memorial Trophy and the S. Sinha Memorial running trophy, recognizing their outstanding achievements in chemistry.
The Shukla Sinha Memorial Trophy for Salini Kumari Mahato included a silver plate and a Rs. 5000 cash prize.
Dilkash Firdaus was awarded the S. Sinha Memorial running trophy, which came with a Rs. 4000 cash reward, for being the top first-year chemistry performer.
The ceremony, led by Dr. Arundhati Dey, celebrated the late Shukla Sinha’s enduring legacy in the academic community.
Notable attendees included Principal N Sinha and faculty members Dr. Veena Singh Priyadarshi, Doris Das, and Dr. Banashree Dey.
