JAMSHEDPUR – In an intensive review to ensure the smooth execution of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Shri Ananya Mittal inspected the Cooperative College, assessing its readiness to serve as a key center for the electoral process.

Officials, including SOR, ADM, Deputy Election Officer, and District Public Relations Officer, were present during this critical inspection, emphasizing the collaborative effort for election preparedness.

The inspection covered various crucial areas, such as the dispatch center, election material handling, receiving center, and the secure storage and counting spaces, ensuring every aspect adheres to the Election Commission’s stringent norms.

Shri Ananya Mittal directed the concerned officials to facilitate the easy transportation of EVM machines, a vital component in the election process.

Counting rooms for the six assemblies under the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, alongside the entry protocol for party agents and the security of EVMs post-voting, were scrutinized for operational efficiency and integrity.
