Joint directive aims to facilitate safer and smoother Holi celebrations by managing city traffic.
JAMSHEDPUR – In preparation for the Holi festival, a collaborative directive has been issued by DC Ananya Mittal, SSP Kishore Kaushal, and Traffic DSP Sanjay Singh, implementing a temporary restriction on the entry of heavy vehicles into Jamshedpur.
Under this directive, all heavy vehicles, with the exception of buses, will be prohibited from entering the city from 6 am to 12 midnight on Monday, March 25, ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the Holi celebrations.
This measure is part of a broader strategy to enhance traffic management and public safety during one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals in the region, aiming to minimize congestion and potential traffic-related incidents.
By allowing buses to operate normally, the authorities aim to facilitate convenient transportation options for residents and visitors participating in the festivities, while ensuring that essential traffic flow is maintained.
The joint decision reflects the commitment of Jamshedpur’s administration and law enforcement agencies to uphold public safety and ensure that the Holi festival is celebrated in a joyous and orderly manner.
