SERAIKELA – On February 26, the Seraikela district was shaken by the murder of a young man within the Krishnapur industrial area, under the jurisdiction of the RIT police station. Following the victim’s family’s complaint, a thorough investigation was launched.

The SIT, established under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police and led by the SDPO, meticulously gathered evidence, ultimately uncovering the truth behind the tragic event.

The investigation’s success led to the arrest of an individual connected to the case, shedding light on the motives behind the murder.

Superintendent of Police Manish Toppo revealed that the victim frequently visited the house of the accused to consume Hadiya, a local brew, where he would harass the accused’s sister. Despite warnings, the victim’s behavior did not change, culminating in his murder.
