Rajendra Vidyalaya to Provisionally Promote Failed Students

Failed students in classes 9 and 11 at Rajendra Vidyalaya get a second chance with provisional promotion

In a significant move, Rajendra Vidyalaya will provisionally promote students who failed in classes 9 and 11, offering them another academic opportunity.

JAMSHEDPUR – Responding to the distress of numerous students and their parents at Rajendra Vidyalaya, the Rajendra Vidyalaya school has decided to provisionally promote students who failed in classes 9 and 11.

This decision comes after parents lodged complaints and protested against the school’s failure rates, leading to a meeting chaired by Sub-Divisional Officer Parul Singh.

At the heart of the controversy were allegations from parents of favoritism and misconduct by the school’s principal, which were strongly denied.

Principal Jayanti Sinha defended the school’s standards, attributing student failures to lack of effort and parental support.

A consensus was reached to promote students based on their project work, with a strict condition set by the SDO for maintaining their new class status.

Students must pass the first-term exams of their new grades, or face demotion, a move aimed at ensuring academic integrity and effort from the students.

The initiative to provisionally promote failed students reflects a balance between giving students a second chance and upholding educational standards at Rajendra Vidyalaya.
