Tagore Society hosts vibrant Basanta Utsav at Rabindra Bhawan with over 200 participants

JAMSHEDPUR – Rabindra Bhawan witnessed a colorful Basant Utsav Saturday evening organized to celebrate the onset of spring.
The Tagore Society’s Basanta Utsav at Rabindra Bhawan was a vivid embodiment of Rabindranath Tagore’s literary and artistic legacy.
Chandana Chowdhury and Jaydev Ghosh of the Tagore School of Art led a captivating presentation of Tagore’s homage to spring.
Ashis Choudhury emphasized the significance of celebrating Tagore to inspire the younger generation to appreciate nature.
He described the event as a tribute to Tagore’s portrayal of human and nature’s harmony, celebrating the vibrancy of spring.
The evening’s program, starting at 6:30 pm, enchanted attendees with music and dance based on Tagore’s spring-themed compositions.
Two hundred students and teachers from the Tagore School of Art showcased their talents in a display of cultural richness.
The Basanta Utsav, organized by Tagore Society at Rabindra Bhawan, saw a large participation in the annual celebration of spring.
