DC Flags Off Farmers’ Tour for Horticulture Training in Raipur
50 Farmers to Receive Training at Institute of Horticulture Technology
Seraikela Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla flagged off a group of 50 farmers from the Collectorate premises for a horticulture training and tour to the Institute of Horticulture Technology in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, under the National Horticulture Mission Scheme.
ADITYAPUR – Saraikela DC Ravi Shankar Shukla flagged off a tour of 50 farmers from the DC office. The farmers are all set to visit the Institute of Horticulture Technology of Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
The tour has been organized under the National Horticulture Mission Scheme.
District Horticulture Officer Vishwajeet Sinha and other concerned departmental officers were present on the occasion as the farmers embarked on their journey to Raipur.
The training, which will continue until March 9, will provide farmers with exposure to tissue culture banana labs, BNR guava plantations, and the fields of progressive farmers in the region.
During the tour, the selected farmers from the district will receive hands-on training and guidance to enhance their knowledge and skills in horticulture practices.
The initiative aims to support farmers in adopting modern techniques and technologies to improve their crop yield and quality, ultimately contributing to the growth of the horticulture sector in the district.
