Yellow Alert Issued for Multiple Districts Ahead of Expected Weather Changes

Jharkhand is set to experience thunderstorms accompanied by rainfall on March 4, as forecasted by the weather center located at Ranchi Airport, affecting several districts across the state.

RANCHI – A yellow alert has been issued for many districts in Jharkhand in anticipation of thunderstorms with rain on March 4.

According to the weather center at Ranchi Airport, which provided this forecast on March 3, 2024, these weather events are expected to impact a significant part of the state.

Accordingly, state residents are advised to prepare for the impending changes.

The temperature across Jharkhand is predicted to drop by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius over the next 24 hours.

Subsequently, a rise of 4 to 5 degrees Celsius is expected in the following two days.

Minimal changes are anticipated in the minimum temperature over the next five days.

The northeastern, southern, and central parts of Jharkhand may see light rain with thunder on March 4.

The weather event is likely to affect districts including Godda, Sahibganj, Dumka, Pakur, Deoghar, Jamtara, Giridih, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, and West Singhbhum.

Extended Forecast

Isolated light rain and thunderstorms are also expected on March 6 and 7 in the southern and central regions, impacting various districts.
