Lions Clubs and Sambhav Sanstha Facilitate Online Applications for Ayushman Card and Pension
Joint effort by Lions Clubs and Sambhav Sanstha ensures locals gain from central government schemes through a digital camp.
JAMSHEDPUR – A significant digital initiative took place at the Community Center Golmuri, as the Lions Club of Jamshedpur Bharat, Lions Club of Jamshedpur Femina, and Sambhav Sanstha hosted the C.P. Digital Mission Camp.
This camp aimed to bridge the information gap hindering public access to central government welfare schemes.
Lion Sarika Singh, Deputy Cabinet Secretary of Lions Club, highlighted the camp’s role in facilitating online applications for the Ayushman card and old age pension under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
Over 100 individuals took advantage of the camp’s services, applying online for these crucial benefits.
The camp saw contributions from Lion Sarika Singh, Lion Suchitra Rungta, Lion Rajesh Kumar, and other members of the participating organizations, who played pivotal roles in the event’s success.
Their efforts underscore the importance of digital literacy in accessing government-provided welfare benefits, making a tangible difference in the lives of the local community.
