MEDININAGAR – The 133rd Foundation Day of Palamu District was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Thakurbari campus on Ranchi Road, Redma. Organized by the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) Secular Party, the event featured a mix of devotional prayers, discussions, and cultural performances.
Tribute to Palamu’s Rich History
The ceremony began with a puja followed by a symposium, where dignitaries reminisced about Palamu’s glorious past. Party District President Ashutosh Tiwari presided over the event, while Chandan Bhuiyan and Bharat Dwivedi conducted the proceedings. HAM National General Secretary Sunil Chaubey, the chief guest, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp, accompanied by special guest Traffic Officer Samal Ahmed.
In his speech, Chaubey called Palamu “the land of struggle,” paying homage to Raja Medini Rai and freedom fighters Nilamber and Pitamber. He lamented the lack of progress in the district despite its potential, attributing it to administrative apathy.

Tiwari emphasized that Palamu’s fertile land and rich heritage should be leveraged to overcome poverty and backwardness. Participants pledged to work towards Palamu’s holistic development. Chaubey urged collective efforts to transform the district into a prosperous and thriving region.
