RANCHI – The upcoming Test match between India and England is set to draw crowds to the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi.

In anticipation, 200 traffic personnel have been deployed for smooth traffic flow.

Ranchi Traffic SP Raj Kumar Mehta has outlined detailed traffic guidelines for the event.

Strategic Deployment and Guidelines

Traffic police will commence duty from 7 am on March 23 to oversee the match’s duration.

Strict instructions ensure all traffic personnel are timely and presentably at their posts.

Vehicle Routing and Parking

Designated routes and parking areas have been established for vehicles arriving from various districts.

Vehicles from Jamshedpur, Seraikela, and nearby areas will park at Prabhat Tara Maidan.

Those from Koderma, Hazaribagh, and other districts have designated parking at Tiril turn.

VIP and Media Parking Provisions

VIP vehicles with passes will have dedicated entry points and parking areas.

Media personnel and vehicles with red passes are allocated specific entrances and parking lots.

Public Parking Locations

Several areas around the JSCA Stadium, including Saint Thomas School and Prabhat Tara Maidan, have been designated for general parking.

This ensures organized parking for spectators coming from different directions.

Post-Match Traffic Flow

Detailed routes have been specified for the smooth exit of vehicles post-match, directing traffic towards Ratu, Mandar, Chanho, and other regions.

This planning aims to minimize congestion and facilitate a hassle-free departure for spectators.

Police sources said that the meticulous traffic arrangements reflect the authorities’ commitment to ensuring a seamless experience for cricket fans attending the highly anticipated Test match.

The focus on orderly parking and traffic management underscores the importance of safety and convenience for both local and visiting spectators.
