Active corona cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan down to 280, total deaths 9

Seraikela: Coronavirus infection situation is slowly improving in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The active corona infection cases in the district has now come down to 280, while no new deaths have been reported during the last 48 hours as the total death toll still stands at 9 for the district.

According to official data, the district has collected a total of 1,01,767 samples till Wednesday. Out of these, 96,781 samples have tested negative. Only 3,261 samples were found positive.

Out of the total positive cases, 2,972 patients have already recovered and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine. The district still has 280 active cases, while 9 persons have succumbed to the virus.

The results of 1,861 samples are still awaited. On Wednesday itself, the district has collected 964 samples.
