CHAIBASA – A tribute was paid to Latehar’s deceased journalist Ajay Sinha by journalists before they presented their demands to the authorities.

Ravi Prakash Singh, along with fellow journalists, submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.

The group emphasized the necessity of a CID probe and support for Ajay’s family.

Ravikant Gop stressed the importance of compensation, employment for Ajay’s widow, and education for his children.

Ranjit Rana lamented the lack of an insurance scheme which could have aided Ajay’s family.

Ajay Mahato criticized the absence of Journalist Protection Act enforcement and state support.

Shankar Gupta highlighted the ongoing struggle for journalist welfare, including insurance and pension.

Gupta reiterated the community’s plea for government action on journalists’ deaths.

A demand was made for a thorough investigation into Ajay Sinha’s suspicious death by Ajay Sinha’s colleagues.

Journalists under Shankar Gupta’s leadership submitted a demand letter to the Chief Minister for immediate action.
