Innovative Biotech Workshop Opens at Jamshedpur Women’s University
A significant workshop on Mushroom Cultivation at Jamshedpur Women’s University paves the way for practical learning and skill development in biotech.
JAMSHEDPUR – A workshop aimed at enhancing skills in mushroom cultivation was held at the Sidhgora campus of Jamshedpur Women’s University, under the guidance of Sanjeev Kumar Mathur, Director of Churchill Mushroom Food India.
Dr. Vishwaraj Lal, director of the program, emphasized the importance of biotech as India’s future, advocating for skill development among female students.
A new tissue culture lab is in the process of being established at the university, as announced by Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta.
Dr. Gupta, during the inauguration of the Ambrosia Club of Biotech, stressed the necessity of combining practical knowledge with theoretical learning.
The event was graced by notable personalities including Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta, Registrar Rajendra Kumar Jaiswal, and several department heads.
The workshop, hosted in the university auditorium, drew attention to the growing significance of biotechnology and hands-on learning in the academic sphere.
