Railway Development in Tatanagar to Get Major Boost with PM’s Inauguration
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s persistent efforts result in significant railway project approvals, promising enhanced connectivity and infrastructure.
JAMSHEDPUR – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate several pivotal railway projects in Tatanagar online on February 26, marking a significant development boost for the region.
These projects include constructing road over bridges at Barigora and Govindpur, and railway under bridges near Salga Jhari and beyond Haldipokhar.
A subway between Galudih and Rakha Mines in the Kharagpur division is also part of the approved projects.
MP Bidyut Baran Mahato played a crucial role in securing approval for these projects through continuous engagement with the Railway Ministry and senior officials.

Tatanagar railway station’s inclusion in the Amrit Station scheme, previously overlooked, was also championed by MP Mahato.
The foundation stone for Tatanagar railway station’s upgrade will also be laid on the same day.
MP Mahato highlighted the severe issues faced by residents of Salga Jhari, Govindpur, and Barigoda, expecting the projects to bring long-awaited relief.
The initiatives aim to alleviate the challenges in Barigora, Rahargora, Gadda, Govindpur, and surrounding areas, enhancing the region’s railway infrastructure significantly.
