JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant community mobilization, Bhalubasa Chowk was the focal point of a newly launched drug de-addiction campaign today, led by the Police Public Coordination Committee.

This initiative has drawn attention citywide, uniting various community leaders and members in a collaborative effort to address the escalating drug addiction issue.

The campaign, inaugurated amidst calls for societal participation, underscores a collective approach to eradicating the menace that plagues the city, especially its younger population.

Community Engagement and Awareness

The event was marked by the participation of key figures such as Anjani Kumar Tiwari, the in-charge of Sitaramdera police station, alongside numerous senior social workers.

Their presence underscored the community’s united stance against drug addiction, reflecting a broad base of support for the initiative.

Leadership and Mobilization

Shiv Pujan Singh, presiding over the meeting, stressed the importance of community engagement and proactive measures to combat the drug menace.

Senior Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhola Prasad Singh, highlighted the campaign’s significance, urging the community to foster a drug-free society for the health and safety of future generations.

The assembly witnessed significant participation from various community members, demonstrating a shared commitment to tackling the drug addiction crisis.

Speakers at the event, including community leaders and activists, emphasized the need for collective efforts to combat the sale and consumption of illegal drugs, which has adversely impacted the city.
