Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Train at Tatanagar to See Improved Boarding
Adjustments at Tatanagar station will ease boarding for Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat train passengers by relocating the stop board for better access.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tatanagar station is implementing adjustments to the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat train’s boarding process, addressing passenger concerns over the distance between the foot overbridge and the platform.
To ensure passengers can board more conveniently, a stop board will be installed closer to the foot overbridge on platform number four for the down train’s arrival.
This decision follows a joint inspection by Station Superintendent OP Sharma with operations, engineering, and commerce supervisors.
Passenger feedback highlighted the difficulty in reaching the train’s coaches in time before the automatic gates closed.
The modifications to the coach guidance system on platform number four aim to alleviate these challenges.
The eight-coach train is set to benefit from this change, enhancing the boarding experience for its passengers.
The initiative underscores the station’s commitment to improving passenger convenience and operational efficiency.
