East Singhbhum Red Cross Society Concludes 723rd Eye Camp

Eye Camp Organized by East Singhbhum Red Cross Society and Partners Concludes Successfully

The 723rd eye camp organized by the East Singhbhum Red Cross Society in collaboration with various partners concluded successfully, providing crucial eye care services.

JAMSHEDPUR – The three-day 723rd eye camp organized by the East Singhbhum Red Cross Society and Ram Manohar Lohia Nethralaya, in collaboration with Draupadi Devi Chimanlal Bhalotia Family Trust, Rajasthan Seva Sadan, and District Rural Health Committee, concluded on Monday.

The camp was held in memory of Late Kamal Chakraborty in conjunction with the SBI Pensioners Association.

Well-known eye doctors Dr. BP Singh, Dr. Rashi, and their team conducted the surgeries and final examinations.

SBI Pensioners Association President Trilochan Singh Kalsi and General Secretary Chamak Sengupta, along with their team, provided goggles, medicines, and towels to the patients.

Interns Unnati Rai, Priyam Aggarwal, and Rishit Verma, along with Red Cross workers, assisted in providing services to the eye patients.

Honorary Secretary of East Singhbhum Red Cross Society, Vijay Kumar Singh, expressed gratitude to the SBI Pensioners Association team.

A health and eye check-up camp will be organized on May 22 at Matku Panchayat Bhawan under the CSR program of Uranium Corporation of India Limited.

This upcoming camp aims to benefit villagers from Patharchakdi, Baghmara, Chirugoda, and Matku.

Under the supervision of Prabhunath Singh, SDP donation in-charge of East Singhbhum Red Cross Society, blood component platelets were donated by Tata Steel employee P Anand Kumar for the 17th time and Dilip Kumar Acharya for the 12th time.

Both donors were honored with mementos by Sanjay Chaudhary, general manager of the Jamshedpur Blood Center, and Prabhunath Singh.

The camp was part of a series of weekly eye camps organized by the East Singhbhum Red Cross Society.

It concluded with the farewell of eye patients who had undergone successful surgeries.

The event highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Red Cross Society to provide essential healthcare services to the community.
