Electricity Expansion in Tata Lease Areas Spearheaded by JUSCO

Electrification efforts in Jamshedpur’s Tata lease and adjacent areas receive a significant boost under MLA Saryu Roy’s initiative.

JAMSHEDPUR – Electricity supply in Jamshedpur’s Tata lease and neighboring areas is set to expand, following a committee meeting led by Shri Shravan Kumar.

Sudhir Singh represented MLA Saryu Roy at the discussion, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to extend JUSCO’s electricity network.

The committee announced the commencement of cable-laying operations in Moharda and Murakati, with further infrastructure developments, including a substation near Ramni Kali temple.

Plans reveal a new substation to be established in Bagunhatu, utilizing Tata lease land near local community facilities, signaling the start of construction within two weeks.

Bhuiyandih is scheduled to join the electrification project by April, aiming to enhance local residents’ access to reliable power.

The operational readiness of the Chhaya Nagar sub-station was confirmed, promising electricity access to several neighborhoods upon application.

Approximately two thousand households stand to gain from the expanded JUSCO electricity service, marking a significant milestone in local infrastructure development.

MLA Saryu Roy’s initiative led to the enhancement of Bagunnagar’s power capacity, showcasing the commitment to improving community living standards.

An upcoming land selection by JUSCO for further expansion in Baridih and other areas highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure comprehensive electricity coverage.

MLA Rai’s proactive approach includes immediate steps to address electricity provision in Cable Town and Cable Basti, with a directive for a high-level meeting to expedite the process.

The meeting underscored the commitment to equitable electricity access, instructing JUSCO to adhere to REC guidelines for service charges.

The formation of a dedicated committee signifies a collaborative approach to addressing the electricity needs of Jamshedpur’s residents, with key stakeholders working towards a common goal.
