Jamshedpur Transport Welfare Association elects Akhilesh Singh Yadav as President, marking a new chapter in its development.

JAMSHEDPUR – A new executive committee for the Jamshedpur Transport Welfare Association was announced, replacing the old committee, under the initiation of Chairman Akhilesh Singh Yadav.

This significant development occurred during an election held at the association’s office on 6 February 2024, where 81 out of 89 members participated.

Akhilesh Singh Yadav was unanimously nominated as president after nominations were received by 3 February for 24 seats, with one member nominated for each post.

The election was conducted by Election Officers Yogesh Trivedi and Sanjay Kumar Rai, underscoring the democratic process within the organization.

Yadav emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in the association’s journey towards addressing the concerns of those involved in the transport business.

He outlined a vision for the association to set new benchmarks through enthusiastic and strategic actions for the betterment of its members.

Members of the newly elected executive committee include Vice President Rameshwar Singh, General Secretary Akhilesh Dubey, and Treasurer Sunil Pareek, among others.

In addition to the executive committee, guardian, advisory, disciplinary, and RTO committees were formed, highlighting the organization’s comprehensive governance structure.

The Legal Advisory Committee saw the nomination of Suresh Chandra Pandey, Dhananjay Prasad, and others, showcasing the association’s commitment to addressing legal challenges.

The association paid tribute to its founding members, including Late TP Singh and others, highlighting the legacy and foundational values guiding its mission.

This election represents a pivotal moment for the Jamshedpur Transport Welfare Association as it embarks on a mission for the all-round development of its members.
