Dr. Nagendra Singh commits to performing 427 free surgeries for the economically disadvantaged, continuing his annual tradition of honoring his mother’s memory through charitable healthcare.
JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Nagendra Singh has successfully completed over 15 thousand free surgeries to date, illustrating his long-standing dedication to healthcare philanthropy.
This year, his goal is to offer 427 surgeries to patients with financial hardships, facing conditions such as gallstones, appendicitis, and tumors.
Patients only need to cover the costs for necessary tests and medications, with all surgeries being performed free of charge in memory of Dr. Singh’s mother.
Among the beneficiaries is Sapia Khatun, a housemaid from Kapali, who received a life-saving operation for a large abdominal tumor, thanks to Dr. Singh’s initiative.
Khatun praised Dr. Singh as her savior, highlighting the impact of his work on individuals unable to afford medical treatment.
To date, Dr. Singh has completed surgeries on five patients this year, including cases of hydrocele, appendicitis, hernia, and ovarian tumors.
Dr. Nagendra Singh annually dedicates two months to perform surgeries at no cost for those at the economic bottom, motivated by personal loss and a commitment to service.
