XLRI’s Annual Event Guides Over 700 Towards Career Clarity
XLRI Jamshedpur’s Disha 2024-25, a comprehensive career counseling fair, successfully guided over 700 participants towards clearer career pathways, offering insights across various sectors.
JAMSHEDPUR – As the curtains close on Disha 2024-25, XLRI’s commitment to fostering human potential and steering individuals towards meaningful careers remains unwavering.
Nina Mukherjee, celebrated for her fifteen years of expertise as a career counselor and psychometric assessor, delivered a keynote that resonated deeply with attendees, enriching them with invaluable guidance and motivation.
A myriad of professional realms including biotechnology, fashion, journalism, and defense, alongside traditional paths such as engineering, civil services, and commerce, were explored, broadening the horizon for many.
The fair witnessed significant participation from schools like Baldwin High School, DAV, JH Tarapore, and Loyola, with over 370 students and parents attending, reflecting a strong engagement from the community.
Disha 2024-25 was bolstered by the support of over 140 student volunteers from XLRI, ensuring a well-orchestrated and impactful event.
With more than 700 registrants, the event underscored the substantial interest and need for direction amongst students on their journey to career discovery.
XLRI’s Samarthya, the Human Potential Centre, spearheaded the organization of Disha, the Annual Career Counseling Fair, aimed at demystifying the career selection process for students.
