Tata Workers Union Election Set for 11,300 Voters

Transparent Electoral Process Marks Tata Workers Union Election

The Tata Workers Union election is set to proceed with 11,300 voters, following meticulous handling of claims and objections to ensure a fair and transparent process.

JAMSHEDPUR – The final publication of constituencies has been completed for the Tata Workers Union election, clearing the path for 11,300 eligible voters.

The electoral process involved the careful resolution of 43 claims and objections under the supervision of election officer CH Srinivas Rao and the election committee.

Senior administrative incharge Dharambir Kumar Singh, posted for the election committee, played a crucial role in overseeing the finalization of the constituencies.

Out of the 43 objections, 18 were related to voter numbers and were successfully addressed by the Election Steering Committee.

Nine objections regarding department and section transfers were raised, with five being resolved and the rest deemed outside the union’s constitutional scope.

Four applications to maintain existing constituencies were received and executed, while another four for correct section name interpretation were processed.

The Election Steering Committee seriously considered objections to merge constituencies, executing four out of five objections.

An application to increase the number of seats was rejected for not aligning with the Union Constitution, and a mispublished section name was corrected.

With the publication of the voter list on Tuesday, the Tata Workers Union election is poised for a highly anticipated and competitive process in the coming days.
