Bhumi Pujan Marks Beginning of Srinath University’s New Campus

Srinath University’s ground breaking ceremony for its expanded campus at Dobo brings new educational prospects.

JAMSHEDPUR – Srinath University’s campus expansion at Dobo commenced with a Bhumi Pujan ceremony on Tuesday, January 16.

The event featured prayer rituals led by Gayatri Kunj members and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya students from Haridwar.

Key figures such as Chancellor Sukhdev Mahto, Pro Chancellor Gurudev Mahto, Trustees Anita Mahto and Moumita Mahto, along with Advisors Dr. Rama Shankar and Dinesh Ranjan Mahto, participated in the prayers.

During the ceremony, Pro Chancellor Gurudev Mahto emphasized the necessity for expansion due to Srinath University’s rapid growth.

He highlighted the new campus’s potential for enhanced infrastructure, additional departments, and an improved student experience amidst nature.

Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato, present at the event, expressed her delight at the university’s progress and its positive impact on local education.

Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato assured attendees of world-class facilities and infrastructure in the new campus, along with the introduction of numerous new departments.

He expressed a commitment to advancing education in the city.

The ceremony concluded with a Bhog distribution among those present, marking a promising start to the university’s expansion.
