The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024 begins its first phase with an increased number of Kolhan students taking part.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024, a critical gateway for engineering aspirants, is set to commence in a two-phase format.

The first phase is scheduled from January 24 to February 1 and will be conducted online.

Paper 2A and Paper 2B, meant for B.Arch and B.Planning, are planned for the afternoon shift on January 24.

Meanwhile, Paper 1 for BE and B.Tech aspirants will take place on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1.

This year sees a notable surge in participants from the Kolhan region, with around 7,000 students.

In a strategic move, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has reduced the number of exam centers.

The second phase is anticipated between April 1 to 15, with form submissions in the February to March period.

The NTA has kept examination center details confidential, releasing admit cards only two days prior to the exam.

Candidates can access the city slip on the official JEE website.

Concurrently, the Sainik School entrance exam, also overseen by the NTA, is slated for January 28 across 186 cities for 6th and 9th graders.

Additionally, the NEET exam for medical college admissions is scheduled for May 5, with a pen-paper exam center in Jamshedpur.

Results are expected to be announced between June 10 and 15, open to 12th board exam candidates.

Moreover, the UGC NET exam is planned from June 10 to 21, with specific days dedicated to different subjects, and application dates will be announced shortly.
