JAMSHEDPUR – Temples across Jamshedpur saw a surge of devotees on the third Monday of Saawan, as worshippers gathered to honor Lord Shiva.
The spiritual energy in Jamshedpur reached a crescendo as devotees flocked to temples in Bistupur, Sakchi, Kadma, and Jugsalai.
Devotional songs and the ringing of bells filled the air from dawn.
Worshippers, dressed in traditional garments, patiently waited to offer prayers.

Beldih Kalibari temple in Bistupur drew large crowds of devotees.
Visitors brought offerings such as milk and sacred leaves for the ‘Abhishek’ ritual.

Meena Kumari, a devoted temple-goer, commented, "The Saawan Mondays are a time of spiritual renewal for us. It’s when we feel closest to Lord Shiva."
Sakchi Shiv Mandir was adorned with vibrant decorations for the occasion.
Special prayer ceremonies were conducted amidst melodious devotional songs.
