Congress district leaders condemn BJP’s parliamentary conduct and Modi’s actions, vowing a strong response in Lok Sabha elections.
JAMSHEDPUR – A Nukkad Sabha program, organized by the District Congress under the Gemco division of Telco block, vociferously criticized the alleged autocratic tendencies of the BJP government.
The program, presided over by Telco Block President Rajesh Kumar, became a platform for expressing concerns over the current political climate.
District President Anand Bihari Dubey, as the keynote speaker, condemned the suspension of 146 MPs from Parliament, labeling it a threat to democracy.
Dubey accused the BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of manipulating parliamentary proceedings and undermining democratic values.
He highlighted instances where PM Modi allegedly ridiculed opposition members, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and MP Renuka Choudhary, in Parliament.
Dubey also alleged cover-ups of scandals involving BJP members, including Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s son and MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
He critiqued the BJP’s strategy of suspending opposition MPs to pass bills, questioning the democratic integrity of such actions.
The Congress leaders urged public support for the India Alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a stand for democracy.
Prominent Congress workers including Riazuddin Khan, Jasveer Singh Jassi, Manoj Singh, and others participated in the event.
The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem, symbolizing a united stand against the perceived threats to democracy.
