Tributes and Honors Mark the Bhojpuri Literature Convention in Jamshedpur

The 27th National Convention of the All India Bhojpuri Sahitya Sammelan celebrated Bhojpuri literature and culture in Jamshedpur’s Chitrakoot room of Tulsi Bhawan.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 27th National Convention of ‘All India Bhojpuri Sahitya Sammelan’ convened on Monday at 9:00 am in Jamshedpur.

The event was held in the Chitrakoot room of Tulsi Bhawan.

Eminent Bhojpuri writers, folk and theater artists, and public awareness messengers gathered to honor Padmashree Bhikhari Thakur on his birth anniversary.

Nepal Language Commission member, Shri Gopal ‘Ashk’, was honored by the organizing committee.

A poetry seminar chaired by Dr. Brajbhushan Mishra and directed by Dr. Jaikant Singh ‘Jai’ featured a range of emotional poetry.

Prominent poets included Shri Kaushal Mohabbatpuri, Subhash Chandra Yadav, and Arvind Srivastava.

Mr. Arun Kumar Tiwari, Trustee of Tulsi Bhawan, was notably present.

The closing session announced the new working committee and the editorial committee of ‘Bhojpuri Sammelan Patrika’.

Dr. Brajbhushan Mishra was appointed as President, with various other key roles filled by distinguished members.
