Diverse Group of 51 ASIs Elevated to Inspectors in Jharkhand Police Force

Jharkhand Police Headquarters announces the promotion of 51 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to Inspectors after a thorough selection process.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand Police Headquarters in Ranchi has recently elevated 51 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Inspector.

This significant advancement for the ASIs follows a comprehensive evaluation during the Central Selection Board’s meeting.

Held on November 24, 2023, this meeting at the Police Headquarters was pivotal in determining the promotions.

The promotions were announced late Saturday night, marking a major development in the Jharkhand Police force.

From the 71 ASIs assessed for eligibility, 51 met the criteria for promotion, while 20 did not qualify.

The newly promoted inspectors, embodying a wide range of experiences and backgrounds, will now step into their enhanced roles.

Among those elevated are experienced officers like Dilip Singh, Chandrabhushan Pratap Singh, and Gupteshwar Singh, as well as Surendra Das, Anand Bhushan Singh, and many others.

Their promotion is a testament to their dedication and hard work within the law enforcement community.
