Greenfield Sanskarshala’s 11th Anniversary Marked by Unique Ramayana Performance by Young Talents

Greenfield Sanskarshala, a play school in Jamshedpur, marks its 11th anniversary with a special Ramayana drama by young students, emphasizing cultural unity.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a memorable celebration, Greenfield Sanskarshala, Sonari and Kadma Jamshedpur’s play school, commemorated its 11th anniversary with a unique portrayal of the Ramayana.

The anniversary event, held at Tata Auditorium XLRI, was inaugurated by Nandani Shukla, Principal of Kerala Samajam School, and educationist Ratnabali Sengupta.

Ekta Agarwal, Principal of Greenfield, along with the enthusiastic staff and students, presented the Hindi drama ‘Ram Katha Namak Sangeet.’

A significant number of students, totaling 175, took pride in enacting various characters from the Ramayana.

The drama featured children aged 3 to 4 from the play group and nursery class, who depicted the life of Shri Ram from his birth to his return from exile, adorned in vibrant Indian costumes.

The event was a testament to the budding talent of the young actors who presented the Ramayana in an engaging and playful manner.

Narad Muni, portrayed as a character from heaven, announced the commencement of ‘Ram Katha’ at Greenfield School, symbolizing the significance of the event.

The drama succinctly summarized the seven kandas of the Ramayana, with speakers elucidating each part.

Beginning with the blessings of Shri Ganesh and Saraswati, the play conveyed a powerful message: the Ramayana transcends religious boundaries, embodying a sentiment that resonates with every Indian.
